Los enamorfados is an original stage production based on the dramatic mechanisms of the Commedia dell'Arte , a 16th-century Italian theatrical genre characterized by stock characters, simple plots, improvisation, and the use of masks. This theatrical form was fundamental in the history of European performing arts and represents one of the high points of Renaissance popular theater.

Based on a text written by Ángel González Quesada and accompanied by physical performance, comic rhythm and complicity with the audience, the production recreates a plot of love entanglements, conflicts and comic situations that demonstrate the vitality and validity of classic theatrical forms.

Etón Teatro is the oldest independent theatre collective in Castilla y León, working continuously since its founding in 1980 by artists from other companies and groups. It has won awards at national and international events and competitions.
