Three stories, three women... one story.

Lying is Easy is a theatrical adaptation of Arantza Portabales' novel, "Leave Your Message After the Beep," performed by the theater group of the Club Social Burgos collective. It brings to the public the stories of three women in extreme situations: divorce, cancer, and prostitution. These three women confess to the audience, as if leaving a message on an answering machine, their lives, their secrets, their feelings, their longings, their fears, their desires... their loneliness. Intimate and moving.

The play unfolds on a stark stage, where the only things that matter are the women themselves, their voices, their gestures. A series of monologues, blending drama with touches of humor, intertwine their stories.

It is aimed at an adult audience.

Admission is free until capacity is reached (56 seats)

To participate in this activity, you must have a library card and pick up an invitation at the library starting Monday, March 16th (56 invitations available). The first half will be distributed starting at 9:00 AM and the second half starting at 4:00 PM. Maximum two invitations per person.
