On Monday, November 17, at 7:00 p.m., we will enjoy Fermín Herrero and the literary series "The Lyre of the Muses: Contemporary Poetry from Castilla y León" in our Multipurpose Room (4th floor) for adults.
The Castilian and Leonese Institute of Language is organizing this literary cycle at the Soria Public Library, coordinated by the Soria poet Fermín Herrero . This proposal seeks to showcase the richness and diversity of contemporary poetry in the Community, a panorama without dominant currents but full of original and unique voices.
Herrero will highlight the extraordinary list of writers from Castile and León—among them several Cervantes Prize winners such as Jorge Guillén, Gonzalo Torrente Ballester, María Zambrano, Francisco Umbral, Miguel Delibes , and José Jiménez Lozano —and will dedicate a special space to authors and publications from Soria, thus showcasing the literary vitality of the region.
