A theatrical performance by Rayuela Producciones Teatrales that pays homage to the work of Jules Verne.

Carlos, nearly 60 years old, discovers that the Jules Verne book he inherited from his grandfather functions as a real time machine. Upon opening it, he travels alongside Verne to the past and the future, but also returns to his own childhood when, at just ten years old, he discovered the transformative power of stories.

The show aims to activate this imaginary world through the autobiographical experience of Carlos Nuevo, an actor and theater creator, whose artistic and personal life is deeply influenced by his early reading of "From the Earth to the Moon", "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" and "Journey to the Center of the Earth".
Between real life and imagined life, the work constructs an intimate and poetic story about how books shape us, save us, and accompany us throughout our entire existence.

Jules Verne and my grandfather's book is a scenic journey between memory, imagination and time.
