José Vicente Casado Collection

Minerals are found in almost everything we use in our daily lives. This exhibition showcases some of the most important minerals and their uses.

MSM OUT - Mining Philately

The exhibition 'Mining Philately', which features the collection of mining-themed stamps by Salvador González Solís, designed and produced by the museum, is on display at the 'Alto Bierzo Museum'. Bembibre (Leon).

Mycology in the MSM environment

The exhibition, part of the center's mycological events, features a selection of mushrooms and fungi that can be found in the area surrounding the museum. It is curated by mycologist José María Escapa.

Guest piece of the month

The museum displays the coat of arms of the mining company Hulleras de Sabero y anexas, sculpted in wood by Francisco Ramos.
