Connect to the present: new technologies for your daily life, with María Jesús García Sierra

Technology evolves rapidly and it is increasingly important to train and educate oneself in technological self-sufficiency. For this reason, the Public Library of Zamora is resuming this initiative in November, which began in the summer of 2023 with great success and acceptance among library users. The objective of these practical workshops is to bring citizens closer to the safe use of technology by learning the skills and abilities necessary in everyday life.

This edition will feature three sessions, beginning in the afternoon on November 5th and held on the following Wednesdays of the month:

  • November 5 > WhatsApp: Discover everything this tool has to offer
You'll discover this instant messaging app to communicate via chat, phone call, or video call.
  • November 12 > Get the most out of your mobile phone
Learn about the main features of today's mobile phones, how to customize some options, settings, backups and synchronization, and useful functions to solve problems in different situations.
  • November 26 > Your online shopping and banking safely
Learn essential tips for the online shopping process, as well as the most secure payment methods and practical examples from the main shopping and auction websites available online. All while keeping security in mind throughout the entire process.
