Open Studio Salamanca is a cultural event and open house that allows the public to visit the studios of local artists and different cultural spaces in the city of Salamanca, Spain, free of charge.

Along with the visit to the artists' studios, several complementary activities will take place during these days, such as the presentation of a book related to cultural management and curating, a talk with two relevant cultural agents from Salamanca, a colloquium with an artist with an international career, and a concert to end the open days.

New to previous editions, the exhibition space of the La Casa de las Conchas Public Library will be dedicated especially to artists presenting audiovisual pieces: Ali Arévalo, Ausín Sáinz, Elena P. Cuesta, María Blázquez and Sanghee Park.

• Headquarters for creators without their own workshop: The library assumes the role of receiving and hosting artists and creators in the audiovisual field who do not have a physical studio in the city.

• Exhibition and meeting point: By becoming one of the cultural spaces on the Open Studio map, it allows these creators to project and show their multimedia pieces, share their portfolios with the public and connect with the community in a high-traffic environment.

• Revaluation of space: By integrating such an iconic Gothic civil building as the Casa de las Conchas into the open doors itinerary, a direct contrast is achieved between the architectural heritage of Salamanca and the most contemporary and technological proposals of audiovisual art.
