"What the stones told me"
Stories from the Basque Country and its nature.
Along the way I found legends of waterfalls, fears of those who did not know their neighbors well, giants who helped with roofs and land divisions, destroyed houses and vanished villages.
Brave people and voices that remain silent.
Ane Gebara (Vitoria-Gasteiz) is a storyteller and actress. After studying early childhood education, she redirected her career towards storytelling and theater. She began training in storytelling in 2016 and participated in the Ahoz Aho competition in Ordizia in 2017. That year she created the narrative show "Harriak kontatu didatena" ("What the Stones Told Me") with Itziar Rekalde and has continued to perform storytelling sessions for adults.
In 2019, she founded the group Martxanillak and created the puppet show "Ardi latxa oihanean galdu zenekoa". In 2020, she ventured into theater with the show "Eta kittorik ez!" alongside Josune Vélez de Mendizabal and Jason Guerra, forming the company Les Bobe-Bobe.
Currently, he continues to explore physical theatre with the "International Laboratory" and "CEC" at the Pablo Ibarluzea International School.
