Gustavo José Tobal Calvo is a specialist teacher in Music Education from the University of Salamanca, with a professional degree in Music (clarinet specialty) from the Professional Conservatory of Music of Valladolid, and a degree in History and Music Sciences from the University of Salamanca, currently teaching as a civil servant at the CEO of Coreses (Zamora) . He has been a member of different instrumental groups and has participated in numerous concerts as a performer and soloist, as well as a director and composer. He has also created shows in which he mixes all kinds of literary texts with images, ambient sounds and live music. He has participated in the presentations of some poetry collections. In addition, he has made several recordings and published several articles on music and education, as well as two manuals on pedagogy and didactics. In November 2024, he presented his first literary publication of a poetic nature, Donde ululan los búhos (Where the owls hoot) (Editorial Cuadranta) at the Ethnographic Museum of Zamora.
