On January 12th, we're starting a new activity at the library for children aged 8 to 10. It's a philosophy workshop with books, led by Ricardo Pastor García-Alcalá.

Philosophy in early childhood is a powerful tool for sparking curiosity and critical thinking. This workshop aims to foster dialogue and creativity, developing the ability to formulate questions and reason independently, as well as active listening and respect for diverse ideas.

Through dialogue and participation, and starting from a stimulus (story, image, dilemma or game) the participants are guided to ask philosophical questions, reflect together, argue, listen to different ideas and justify opinions.

In summary, critical, creative, and ethical thinking is promoted through dialogue.
