International cooperation for the development of Castilla y León in El Salvador

The Public Library of Avila hosts, from July 27 to August 29 , the photographic exhibition entitled: "International cooperation for the development of Castilla y León in El Salvador".

  • Through a selection of images, the exhibition brings the public closer to the reality of the communities participating in international cooperation projects promoted by the Junta de Castilla y León and developed in collaboration with the NGO Tierra Sin Males (Land Without Evil ). The exhibition showcases initiatives related to access to water, food security, education, and strengthening local capacities.
  • The exhibition also includes the volunteer experience of Luis Felipe Martín Gómez , a resident of Avila, who participated in various cooperation projects in the Cuscatlán Norte region of El Salvador in 2025.
  • As a complementary activity, a talk and discussion will be held on July 30 at 12:00 pm in the Library's Assembly Hall , in which the experiences and lessons learned during the field experience will be shared, as well as the impact of cooperation projects on local communities.

An opportunity to learn about other realities, reflect on the importance of solidarity, and discover how international cooperation contributes to building a fairer, more inclusive, and sustainable world.
