From October 1st to 30th , the photography exhibition "A Sincere Look " by Agustín Hernández can be visited in the exhibition hall of the Palencia Public Library . The exhibition comprises 23 photographs of people with intellectual disabilities interacting with animals. The portraits capture their feelings: surprise, joy, fear, distrust, disinterest, tenderness, curiosity… For someone interested in portraiture, capturing these expressions is a privilege. And it is also a privilege for anyone with a humanistic perspective.

Agustín Hernández presents an essential photographic journey that unfolds in two distinct areas: portraits of people with disabilities and those at risk of social exclusion, and still life photography. In the latter, he has exhibited his still life work continuously from 2012 to the present in galleries and exhibition spaces in Barcelona, ​​Madrid, Alicante, Valladolid, Burgos, Palencia , and Segovia. In the portrait category, sponsored by the Department of Culture of the Junta de Castilla y León, he has exhibited in the institution's galleries throughout the region, as well as in Alicante and the surrounding province.

Her photographs have been used in posters for the University of Valladolid, the Fitur and Intur tourism fairs, the Valladolid Book Fair, brochures, calendars, books, and magazines. She has published three photobooks: Portraits of Fragility, The Naked Gaze , and Fruit of the Sun.
