Dominica Pérez de Castro , born in Belver de los Montes (Zamora) but residing in Madrid, is a poet by vocation, dedicated to writing poetry since childhood. She holds a law degree from the Complutense University of Madrid, is a member of the Madrid Bar Association, and practiced law for several years before joining the civil service as a Senior Social Security Technician.
For over four decades, she has maintained an active cultural collaboration with the Ateneo de Madrid, an institution of which she is a member. She has given lectures, organized discussions, and participated in poetry recitals in various venues, characterized by dynamic interaction with the audience.
As an author, she has published From Genius to Imagination, Poetry, stories and other adventures and, now, The Shadow of the Almond Tree, a work that continues her literary and life trajectory.
