Activities for children who do not yet read. After listening to a short story, they will do a craft related to the story. This encourages listening and interest in the stories hidden in books, seeking to pique their curiosity to learn to read.
It is essential to have a library reader card .
To participate, you must register at RPLA: Access to registration for library events
The activity will take place at the bebeteca on the following Saturdays:
- September 20: "GUAPA." A witch eagerly prepares for a date with the ogre, but along the way, several characters criticize her appearance and suggest changes. Through her decisions, the story humorously addresses the pressure to fit in and the importance of accepting oneself as one is.
- October 4: "THE COLOR MONSTER." The Color Monster is confused: he feels many emotions at once and doesn't understand what's happening to him. With the help of a friend, he'll learn to identify and organize each emotion—joy, sadness, anger, fear, and calm—to feel better.
- October 18: "IF I WERE A LION." A boy is angry because he's being scolded for making noise, shouting, and misbehaving. So he imagines: "If I were a lion, would they say anything to me for roaring?" Through different animals, he explores what it would be like to behave like them. But in the end, he realizes that he doesn't need to roar or make a fuss to be heard.
- November 8: "A MONSTROUS DINNER." Several monsters gather at a terrifying restaurant to enjoy a spooky feast, but the arrival of an unexpected guest changes all plans.
- November 22: "PIRATE DANIELA." A brave girl named Daniela wants to join the crew of Captain Cutear's feared pirate ship. To achieve this, she must overcome difficult trials. Although initially rejected for being a girl, Daniela demonstrates with courage and intelligence that she can be a great pirate.
- December 13: "YOU CAN DO IT YOURSELF." Sam and his mama bear bake cakes together to distribute to neighbors. When it comes time to deliver a bag, Sam hesitates because he thinks he can't do it alone. Finally, with a little push, he takes his first step toward independence.
- December 20: "NONO'S CHRISTMAS." Nono, a little blue teddy bear who lives in the "Bonito Rincón" forest, always misses Christmas because he's hibernating. But this year, his friends hatch a secret plan so he can wake up and enjoy the holiday with them.
