On May 19th , at 7:00 PM, in the Auditorium of the Palencia Public Library , the book "Asphalt Maps" by Menoscuarto Publishers will be presented by its author, Carmen Peire. A discussion about the book will follow, with Concha Lobejón participating.

An intense novel rooted in the memory of the transition, set in a peripheral neighborhood of Madrid where its characters strive to get ahead with whatever they have, however little it may be.

Carmen Peire 's narratives, short stories, and microfiction have been included in various anthologies in both Spain and Mexico, where she also resided. She is the author of two books of short stories, "Principio de incertidumbre" (2006) and "Horizonte de sucesos" (2011), and the novel "El año de Electra" (2014).
