Valeria grew up with a strict religious upbringing, convinced that the world was exactly as she had been taught. Her life unfolds amidst the routine and security of an environment where everything seems to have an explanation. However, a single night will be enough to shatter all her certainties.
Betrayed by those she trusted most and trapped in a situation she never imagined, she will discover that reality can be far crueler than she ever thought possible. From that moment on, she will be forced to confront her fear, make decisions that will change her destiny, and uncover a strength she didn't even know she possessed.
The harshest form of growing up has burst into her life, forcing her to awaken in an unimaginable way.

Mª del Pilar Aguilar Ramos, a curious, dreamy woman from Valladolid, passionate about stories that move and leave a mark, presents her first published book , The Awakening of Valeria.
