Grandfather Delibes is a book that reveals the most intimate and familial side of Miguel Delibes, moving away from the solemn and public figure of the writer to show the warm, affectionate, and humorous man who lived with his grandchildren. Through its pages, Germán Delibes shares some of his personal anecdotes, recovering family memories, photographs, and documents that enrich the portrait of the writer and allow us to better understand his character, his discipline, and his love for his family.

Germán Delibes Caballero was born in Valladolid in 1973. He is a primary school teacher in Castilla y León and a passionate sports enthusiast. For years he has collaborated with the Regional Ministry of Education and the Miguel Delibes Foundation on the program "The Other Delibes," where he shares a personal perspective of the writer with students, drawing on his family connection to him.
