Open the earth
Luis Ramos de la Torre
Lastura Editions, 2025
With Carmen Seisdedos, philosopher and writer, and Gustavo Tobal on clarinet. Presented by Lidia López Miguel, editor.
"These poems uncover names, reiterate experiences, underscore feelings, and unfold evocations. They make present. They unearth, they cast aside shadows. And they embrace. Because what pumps through this painful journey is respect, love, homage. Humbly, they show cruelty, pain, injustice, and extend a hand to the victims and their families. The author adjusts the modulation and achieves a wide range of nuances in this collection. That's why these compositions continually shake us, because they don't reiterate; they continue to excavate and manifest new stories, new lives." (Alberto García Teresa)
