Presentation of the book "Romance of the Wedding of the Flea and the Louse", by Julia Andrés Oliveira and Antonio Vázquez Martín

This publication is part of a series of ballads previously presented at the Public Library: "Romance of the Catholic Monarchs" and "Romance of the Warrior Maiden." This time, completing the trilogy, we present "Romance of the Wedding of the Flea and the Louse ."

The event, as on previous occasions, features the participation of the authors: Julia Andrés Oliveira and Antonio Vázquez, as well as a choir that will sing the text of the book, directed by Sauri Oliveira.

As it is a romance transcribed from the oral tradition, it has accompanying music from the choir of the Peromato socio-cultural association who will be in charge of the interpretation, serving as support in the learning process.

Julia Andrés Oliveira is Professor of Ethnomusicology at the Conservatory of Music of Castilla y León, occasional illustrator and project creator.

Antonio Vázquez Martín is a drawing teacher, visual artist, editor and dream designer.

Sauri Oliveira García is a piano teacher at Musikea, a lover of the seasons and a "musiqueira" by definition.
