Divertimento Folk celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2026, solidifying its position as a leading force in the Spanish folk music scene. Since its formation, the band has skillfully fused traditional rhythms and melodies with a contemporary touch, winning the hearts of audiences. Over the years, they have participated in numerous festivals, bringing their music to stages throughout the Iberian Peninsula. This anniversary not only marks a milestone in their career but also provides an opportunity to reflect on their impact on the revitalization and preservation of folk music. To celebrate, they are preparing a commemorative tour and the release of a new album that promises to be a celebration of their legacy and a showcase of their artistic evolution. The album will feature versions of their best-known songs and new compositions drawn from tradition, complemented by original songs. There is also the possibility of special collaborations with artists from the folk world and a few other surprises. This project will review the three albums that the group has released: DIVERTIMENTO, NOMADAS and FOLK & ROLL, and will also include a preview of their fourth album celebrating 25 years.
