We set sail on a cruise, and the moment we did, we stopped the ship from the audience seats, all of us pulling on the mooring lines so the orchestra could board. They were late, and that's just the prelude to the hilarious situations that await us on an amazing journey around the world: France, Italy, Greece, Brazil, Japan, Austria—these and many more countries will be the perfect excuse to perform the hits of the most well-known, popular, and admired symphonic music in the world. Music will be the perfect vehicle on this eccentric cruise to take us through the wildest adventures: storms, shipwrecks, pirate attacks, and gala dinners. A wacky musical offering that unites peoples, lands, and traditions without prejudice or inhibitions through music, new technologies, and good humor. Bringing this celebration to the theater is inviting the audience to a different kind of show: one that combines classical music and breakneck rhythms, virtuosity and humor, tradition and irreverence. It's about getting families on their feet, giving them the feeling of the sea breeze on their faces, and leaving them with a lasting memory: the recollection that the greatest composers in history, if they so desired, would also board this cruise ship to spread joy and beauty across the globe. The true feat lies in the fact that the eleven performers not only play, but also act, sing, move through the space with choreographic precision, and interact with the audience without compromising the musical quality. The concept of the musician-actor reaches its zenith here: every bow change, every phrase, every gestural gag is meticulously synchronized with the score and the audiovisual effects, so that the boundary between concert and dramatic performance vanishes. This convergence of disciplines transforms the performance into a collective ritual where adults and children share surprise and wonder.
