The play "Selma & Luisa" is a tragicomedy that denounces domestic violence. The sordid lives of these two women, who walk toward an inexorable destiny, expose the audience to a painful reality. Theater is used as an engine of social change, an additional tool for raising awareness, a platform for addressing injustices and problems.

None of this is done through indoctrination. Instead, the author lets her characters flow so that, with their dialogue, they lead the audience to reflection. Great importance is placed on the language used, which is very close to reality, contributing to the creation of believable and easily identifiable characters. The viewer is immersed in the sordid lives of these two women and travels with them, from the most acidic humor to total desolation.
