This Anthology is a show that recreates the different types of comedy that our authors knew how to reflect so well in the Minor Genre.

This show is different from the usual ones in its genre, as it bases its focus on comic numbers , without forgetting, of course, the romances of the great zarzuela. The audience sees scenes from different zarzuelas parade before their eyes (La Verbena de la Paloma, La Revoltosa, Agua Azucarillos y Aguardiente, El Bateo, etc.) and thus, in an entertaining and fun way, fragments of a joyful Spain are woven together. Characters as endearing as Don Hilarión, Señá Rita or Julianillo (the one who has a mother) join hands with "La Revoltosa" or with Asia, the corny girl from the beginning of the 20th century.

Likewise, some of the best spoken word scenes have been introduced into the show, such as the dialogue between Vicente and Lorenzo in Agua, azucarillos y aguardiente or that between Cándido and Gorgonia in La Revoltosa, which also, with their jokes and arrogance, allow the audience to enjoy a language full of character and mischief.

This company is made up of a group of professionals who regularly collaborate with the best national zarzuela and theater companies (actors, singers, and musicians), brought together with the intention of bringing a genre as Spanish as Zarzuela, Género Chico, and Sainete to all audiences, young and old, familiar with this genre or not. With their voices and their skillful work, they bring to this show a quality that audiences have recognized and appreciated in the various theaters where it has been performed. Particularly noteworthy is the costumes, which add a touch of color and magic from another era, as they are carefully curated to recreate the styles, customs, and traditions of the period.
