The Glass Graduate is the eighth exemplary novel that we have brought to the stage within our CERVANTES PROJECT, a challenge and an endeavor to which we dedicate ourselves to disseminate and bring the heritage of our Spanish literature closer to all audiences, as an act of delight and cultural responsibility, at the same time.

The Glass Graduate tells the story of Tomás Rodaja, a poor boy who goes to study in Salamanca with his masters before traveling through Italy and Flanders. Upon returning to Salamanca to finish his studies, he is poisoned by a lady who desires his love. As a consequence, he goes mad, believing he is made of glass. A curious case of madness, that of a man who, driven by his love of literature, seeks to honor his parents, and ultimately society, through knowledge.

The Glass Graduate is a novel as original as it is extraordinary, which at all times reminds us of the figure of Cervantes and his life journey.
