The older of the two is called retarded by half the town. The other abruptly discovers what it means to grow up. Ibiza80 immerses us in the vital stratum of childhood, straddling the invisible line that separates reality from fantasy because they are one and the same, experienced with formidable intensity.

An African proverb says that a child who is not embraced by his tribe will, as an adult, burn down the village to feel its warmth. Ibiza80 speaks of that latent fire we carry within us, of that tribe that doesn't embrace, of that desire to dance even when there's no music.
