MANUELA, The Infinite Flight tells the true story of a woman, Manuela Vos. In 2021, Manuela's life was completely turned upside down in three seconds, which is exactly the time it took her body to travel the 30 meters in free fall that separated her from the ground while climbing a mountain. And now, in September 2024, Manuela has become the first female world champion in paracycling.

We've had the privilege of exploring this flight with its protagonist and recounting it with the help of four artists on stage, who also perform live music. Among the artists is Manuela herself, who actively participated in the creation of the piece.

The play's dramaturgy is structured around the change in Manuela's life caused by an accident that transforms an athlete into a quadriplegic. This theatrical production follows Manuela on her exciting adventure of life, effort, and passion, and in a sense, serves as a metaphor for contemporary society: the creation of the play and the design of its subsequent tour have had to overcome difficulties similar to those Manuela encounters in her daily life. If life is sometimes not designed for people with disabilities, theater stages and dressing rooms, hotels, and public transportation are even less so.

In the piece there is a permanent dialogue with the audiovisual that has a great poetic charge.
