Nuru is not an ant like the others. She struggles to keep up with the unstoppable pace of the anthill: while everyone else runs, she stops, gets lost in thought, and is distracted by what goes unnoticed by the others. While some ants build tunnels, others fight or gather food, Nuru observes, imagines, gets distracted. One day, tired of not finding her place, she decides to leave and embark on a journey that will take her far from home, through the forest and her fears, but also to discovery and friendship—a tender and courageous adventure.
