This workshop is offered in conjunction with the exhibition ' Insound/Instructure' by Yoko Ono at the MUSAC (Museum of Contemporary Art of Castilla y León) in Leon. It will introduce participants to the conceptual art of this artist's works and stimulate their capacity to imagine and create without limits. Key aspects of Yoko Ono's career include her belief in the power of imagination, her political commitment, her sense of humor, her inclination towards the absurd, and her sensitivity to issues such as international conflicts and the role of women in society.

Images of the artworks that will serve as the basis for the workshop will be shown, and the artist's intended message will be explained. There will also be a brief discussion of conceptual art, where a good idea is more important than technique.

The exercises proposed for the workshop are inspired by the works of Yoko Ono: Tree wish , Add Colour (Refugee Boat) , Helmets / Pieces of Sky, as well as in Action Verbal Bombardment (Salamanca, Library) and in the work of Mayte Santamaría Commercial Environment.

Mayte Santamaría will lead the workshop.
