From June 25 to July 11 , in the Lobby of the Palencia Public Library , you can visit the exhibition There is no planet B by the Amycos
organization.
Climate change is more than just one of the 17 SDGs specified in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. It is a threat multiplier that hinders the fulfillment of human rights and the satisfaction of basic needs, such as food, water, health, housing, economic security, and peace around the world.
We are the first generation to understand the climate emergency, but we are also the last that can do anything about it. There is no more time and no planet B; this is the place we should be concerned about, and we can't leave it for tomorrow.
In this presentation, we explain how the climate emergency is keeping us from achieving the Sustainable Development Goals using the seven climate indicators defined by the World Meteorological Organization. We also explain the role of citizen mobilization in achieving climate justice and offer some tips on personal habits to achieve a shared future worth living in.
