Introducing Mares y Lunas , Raúl Olivar's sixth and newest album. The concert is a musical journey through Olivar's compositions, focusing on this latest work as well as several pieces from previous albums. These works are based on flamenco concert guitar with an avant-garde approach, respecting the roots of a wide variety of flamenco styles. Presented as a trio, the flamenco guitar serves as the guiding thread of a performance that fuses Olivar's own compositions with percussion and electric bass. This rich musical expression, open to the modernity of flamenco art while respecting tradition, unfolds through the interpretation of different flamenco styles and forms included in Olivar's discography, presented in a highly personal way. This distinctive approach has established Olivar as a guitarist with extensive national and international musical experience.
