SEWING AND SINGING

Spin the thread, the spinner spins it, spinning the threads in a row.

A show full of threads, wool, fabrics, buttons, words, sounds, music and songs.

Threads for a torn heart, songs for a seven in the underpants, stories for weaving nonsense, needles for dreaming in a nightgown.

Our protagonist gets her threads tangled up with words, her dresses with stories.

Will she weave stories? Will she embroider songs?... Will it all be a piece of cake?

The songs in the show are composed by Ángel Sánchez and woven together - as always, by Marieta Monedero - on popular poems and those of authors such as Rafael Alberti, Ignacio Sanz, Charo Ruano, Liliana Cinetto and Cecilia Pisos.
