ON THE TIP OF MY TONGUE

Two women from the mid-20th century meet daily at their front door with their neighbors to sew and tell stories, tales, proverbs, ballads, and sing songs from bygone eras. They use whatever sewing materials they have on hand to illustrate some of their stories. From their sewing kits, stories emerge, as if from a forgotten memory that, at a certain moment, with the appearance of something hidden beneath the threads, helps them explain a part of their lives. It's about recreating a scene of everyday life, typical of our landscape, which we have observed since time immemorial in courtyards, streets, and small squares.
