"Tracatá (Carbonera)" is a dance performance with original electro-flamenco music that traces the coal cycle: from its extraction in the mine, through the forge and anvil to shape the iron pieces that ultimately form a locomotive, once again fueled by the gray mineral. The story unfolds through interviews with miners and the wives, mothers, daughters, and widows of miners, as well as relatives of railway workers. Their testimonies are woven into the songs that make up the performance. Any town or region with a history linked to mining or the railway is the ideal setting to experience "Tracatá (Carbonera)." It premiered in the street, but we are awaiting its theatrical premiere.
