Víctor Manuel is a Spanish singer-songwriter born in 1947 in Asturias. Known for his social and political activism, he was a key figure in the protest song movement during the Spanish transition to democracy. He has addressed themes such as love, freedom, and social justice. Among his hits are "Solo pienso en ti" (I Only Think of You) and "La puerta de Alcalá" (The Alcalá Gate) (with Ana Belén, his wife). With a career spanning more than five decades, he remains active in music and has received numerous awards, including the Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts. (We, in the voice of Raúl Santana.)
