The cultural festival of magic arrives

to rural areas

The magic, spread across more than 300 towns and villages, will travel through the towns of Castilla y León in the 22nd edition of the Vive la Magia International Festival.

December is the month of magic in Castilla y León. The Vive la Magia International Festival will envelop the towns and villages of this region with its artistry. From December 21st to January 7th, wonder will touch the theaters, squares, and streets of the rural corners with its magic wand.

Rural Spain occupies a prominent place in the program of this festival, the largest in Europe, in which more than 700 performances take place, all of them free of charge in different locations in the provinces of Leon, Segovia, Soria, Burgos, Avila, Palencia , Salamanca, Valladolid and Zamora.

More than 80 professional magicians will be spread across more than 320 towns to offer 700 shows, including Julián and Pendorcho , Iñaki Zabaleta, Magic Luna Xulio Merino, Jessica Guloomal, Lola Mento, Mago Potter, Celio Amino, Lore Lavand, Leo Bordigoni or Adrián Carratalá National Magic Award winner , among other greats of magic, who when you see them perform, remain etched in your memory.

The magic travels to every corner, from villages with 30 inhabitants, to larger ones like Valderas or Valencia de Don Juan that exceed 4,000 inhabitants, both in Leon.

The Vive la Magia International Festival originated in Leon , where it was founded twenty-two years ago. The festival's quality has steadily grown among the public, with increasing citizen participation each year, making it the largest and best magic festival in Europe.

This star show of the festival will tour different capitals of the community: Burgos, Salamanca, Soria, and Palencia, and in the neighboring Asturian capital, Oviedo.
