Encouraging reading and writing through poetry, illustrations, and photographs.

Images as part of reading allow children to decipher meanings, as well as stimulate imagination, fantasy, and all the possibilities of developing reading habits and understanding the world through reading.

As an artist, Irene Zottola explores the limits of analog photography to create a dreamlike and poetic world, often accompanying her images with text. As an educator, she uses photography as a tool for intervention.
