Colloquium dedicated to bringing cancer research closer to the public and understanding how its advances can transform people's lives.

The meeting will feature the participation of Dr. Carlos del Fresno , a researcher at the Biomedical Research Institute of the La Paz University Hospital , IdiPAZ; a professional from the Oncology Service of the General Hospital of Segovia; and a patient, who will contribute his personal experience.

The colloquium will address different perspectives on cancer, connecting scientific research, clinical practice, and patient experience. We will also learn about Dr. Carlos del Fresno's research project.

"New cancer treatments based on inactivated bacteria to train the immune system."

This activity is part of Research Month and is organized by the Spanish Association Against Cancer in Segovia , with the aim of bringing science closer to society, highlighting the importance of research and creating a space for dialogue between professionals, patients and citizens.
