" The Robbery " or " The hilarious plundering at Don Diego's house of the supposed gold treasure from King Solomon's mines " is a funny comedy with masks of entanglement and farce based on the text of the recently discovered Salamanca playwright Martín Iglesias de Morille.

Don Diego, a nobleman from Salamanca, longs to escape his simple life in search of adventure. On his journey, he meets David Donald, with whom he forges an unbreakable friendship after discovering King Solomon's Mines together. Upon his return to Salamanca, Don Diego brings with him a chest full of riches and a vow: that their children will marry in the future to solidify the friendship between their families. However, when the time comes, his servant Basilio, along with his best friend Lutecio, unleash chaos in an attempt to steal the treasure. This entire plot will teach all the characters a crucial lesson about love.

Mejor Con Arte is a young company, based in the rural area of ​​the province of Zamora, with a strong interest in the sparsely populated territory where it operates. For over ten years, it has launched more than thirty performing arts and cultural projects, always linked to cultural and historical heritage.
