On February 26th , at 7:00 PM in the Auditorium of the Palencia Public Library, as part of the "Read, See and Think" series
organized by the 35th Palencia International Film Festival in collaboration with the library's reading clubs and the Palencia Popular University, the 1963 film " Lord of the Flies" by Peter Brook will be screened . It is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Nobel Prize-winning author William Golding.
A plane carrying children from England to be evacuated from the war malfunctions and crashes into the sea near a deserted island. The surviving children and the badly injured pilot must organize themselves and adapt if they want to survive. Conflicts arise as two opposing factions form.
