On Tuesday, January 20th , at 11:00 a.m., in the Auditorium of the Public Library of Palencia, the semi-final of the game "The Little Giants of Reading" will be held.
A read-aloud game for 4th grade elementary students that promotes reading through a challenging and fun dynamic for the students, and brings them closer to all the links in the book chain.
The children choose a text that they have to read aloud for 3 minutes. To choose it, they can be inspired by the selections that the committee of experts made in previous editions of recommended readings .
Children's juries and juries of professionals from the book, culture, and education sectors select the winners, who advance through various phases until reaching the grand final at the Madrid Book Fair. There, the children will share the stage with the authors of their chosen books.
