Bárbara Végmed is an actress, dancer, and director of Todoart13, but above all, a storyteller. Inheriting the love of listening passed down by her elders, her voice blends tales from oral tradition with her own creations. Her passion for words has taken her to stages in Spain, Mexico, the USA, and the UK, where she has performed both grand characters and intimate stories. With projects like "El Baúl de Mouna" (Mouna's Trunk), she has filled plazas, theaters, and libraries with stories, participating in the Escenario Patrimonio CyL Festival, the 'Narrar Enamora' Orality Festival, and 'Cuentos en la plaza' (Stories in the Plaza). Awarded the RÉPLICA Prize of the Canary Islands and supported by international artistic residencies, Bárbara has also led reading promotion workshops in rural areas, making storytelling the best way to bring people together.

Shared stories
Our senses evoke memories: smells, tastes, colors, sounds, touches… They can transport us back to moments spent in the warmth of a family gathering, unraveling the hem of a skirt, snuggled up on the sofa with family on a Sunday afternoon. In the corner of the kitchen, next to the sewing machine, or in the living room, shared stories make us accomplices in feelings, desires, memories, and secrets.
