Avila Museum. The spring piece presented this time is a bronze axe, characteristic of the Late Prehistory of the Iberian Peninsula. It belongs to the socketed axe type, a tool highly representative of the Late Bronze Age throughout the European Atlantic coast.
It was found by chance in 1948, in the place of El Castillo (Diego Álvaro, Avila).
It will be unveiled at the foot of the display case, and the event will be accompanied by a short musical performance. The presentation will be given by archaeologist Jorge Díaz de la Torre and the musical group La Gramola.
