Family reading workshop in English for children ages 7 to 10.

Jennie Gant was the Director of the British Council Segovia until 2021. She is currently a teacher and translator.

Experienced ELT Manager with a demonstrated history of working in Teaching, Training and Educational Management. Skilled in Nonprofit Organizations, Translation ES>EN, FR>EN, Teaching with creativity, English, Course and Materials Design, Management, Customer Service, Coaching and Staff Development. With ELT teaching qualifications for Early Years, Primary, Secondary and Adult learners. BA Combined Hons in French (with linguistics), Spanish and Latin American Studies and Politics from The University of Newcastle upon Tyne. Further qualifications in marketing, customer service. Professional coach and mentor. Experienced in delivering creative public events and educational training in English.

With this activity, she will introduce families to the reading and rhythm of the English language, demonstrate the connection between reality and stories, and guide adults on pronunciation and recommended books to foster synergies between them.
