Sergio Gómez (Peraleda de la Mata, 1997), whose stage name is El Gato con Jotas , is an artist, musician, and folklorist from Extremadura whose unique approach challenges the boundaries of traditional folklore, fusing Extremaduran tradition with electronic music and LGBTQ activism. In this way, his project represents a cultural revolution that encompasses both tradition and modernity, using the Extremaduran dialect in his lyrics and combining it with contemporary electronic beats to preserve and update the intangible heritage of Extremadura.

On the other hand, Sergio Gómez is the creator and director of "Electrojota", an original show originating
in 2017 with the aim of staging folklore, popular songs and traditions from a
current and modern perspective. In this way, Electrojota is a performance where originality, groundbreakingness, and emotions merge to offer an artistic vision of pop culture, queer art, and cabaret. Rock, agro-pop, atmospheric sounds, lo-fi, and electro-disgusting all appear, fostering the
Plurality and diversity, where each genre and trend takes center stage in a spectacle full of vitality and provocation.
