Approaching art not only from an aesthetic perspective, but also as a living ecosystem and an economic engine is fundamental to understanding the figure of the creator today.

Miren Palacios (singer-songwriter), Andrés Álamo Portugal (fine arts), and Antonio Doñate , coordinator of the Entredessiguales Association (artist), will speak about art on Friday, March 6th at 7:30 p.m. in the Miguel de Cervantes Library.

Viewing art as a living ecosystem allows us to shift from the romanticized vision of the "isolated genius" to a more complex reality: that of the creator as a central node in a value network. Approaching art from this perspective implies recognizing other dimensions: the Creator as Cultural Entrepreneur. The contemporary artist not only produces work; they manage intellectual property, seek funding (from public grants to crowdfunding), and must navigate digitalization. Platforms like Creative Capital offer critical resources for artists to learn how to manage their careers as sustainable projects. The event will also feature music by the Lálabay Duo.
