On Tuesday, July 1st , at 11:30 a.m. , in Plaza Mariano Timón, entering through the Palencia Public Library , Zolopotroko Teatro
presents its play Titiricuéntame. A children's play featuring recited and sung poems. Poetry as a tool to work on memory, acquire new vocabulary, and develop imagination and interest in reading. A creative venture where puppets, silk fans, paper boats, giant balls, projections on illustrated panels, live music, and excellent acting bring to life a show where poetry takes center stage.
One day, Grandpa Titiricuento, a great writer and storyteller, told us that poets are magicians who transform feelings into fantastic verses. They do it so well that, when you read their poetry, you can touch the emotions with your soul's fingers.
