The Interpretation Workshop of the 2025-2026 course, organized by the Cultural Association Escena 21 in collaboration with the Telón de Azúcar Theatre Company , presents its end-of-course work in the library with the performance of Jean-Paul Sartre's reinterpretation of Euripides' eponymous tragedy The Trojan Women .

After ten years of war, Troy lies in ruins, at the mercy of the victorious Greeks. The men have died in battle, and the women, alone with their children, fear for their future. Sartre offers us an existentialist and anti-militarist adaptation of Euripides' classic tragedy, using the myth to symbolize the futility and horror of war.
