The León Institute of Culture is hosting the exhibition "The Time of Interference," a contemporary art project that brings together national and international artists with works reflecting on image, technology, and perception. From April 11 to June 14, the Sala Provincia of the ILC in the city of León offers the public a journey through different ways of understanding time in the current context, from the transformation of the landscape to the impact of language and technological devices on how we see.
Through installations, light works, audiovisual pieces, and textual works, the exhibition presents an experience that invites visitors to pause and observe how images influence the construction of contemporary reality. Curated by Jorge Quijano Ahijado and Silvia Argüello, this exhibition brings together works by Joan Fontcuberta, the Italian art collective Fuse*, Abelardo Gil Fournier, Laurent Grasso, Jenny Holzer, and Jorge Quijano.
The project was developed entirely by Interface Studio, responsible for the curatorial approach and artistic coordination, which aimed to establish a dialogue between creators from diverse backgrounds and careers. The collaboration with the León Institute of Culture allows for the presentation in Leon of a proposal connected to current debates in contemporary art and to broaden the city's cultural profile.
