This analysis ranges from domestic loneliness to loneliness as an urban disorder , exploring the diverse landscapes and scenarios of subjective, social, and demographic loneliness. It will consider the implications and risks of unwanted loneliness, the political discomfort surrounding the plight of single-person households, and the emotional and clinical consequences of what has been called the "epidemic of the 21st century."
