Public observation of the Total Solar Eclipse in Castronuño

To mark the total solar eclipse of August 12, 2026 , the Castronuño Town Council is organizing a public viewing open to residents and visitors in the Recreational Area of ​​the Motorhome Area.

The activity will begin at 7:00 p.m. with the reception of attendees and will allow you to follow all phases of the eclipse, whose totality will take place at 8:30 p.m. , reaching a duration of 47 seconds .

During the event, certified solar observation glasses (ISO 12312-2) will be distributed free of charge, and refreshments and snacks will be offered to attendees.

The activity is free and open to the public until the space reaches capacity.
